As an assignment for my first year Engineering Graphics and Design Course (EGAD), we were to design a phone stand that would be able to hold our phone at roughly a 60-70˚ angle using only 2.7 cubic inches of material, 0.7 of which could be support material. Going through the whole design cycle, I created a list of requirements and constraints, made a few initial sketches, modelled my final design idea in SolidWorks, and printed the final product.
